Grade 5, Scp 8-12, 33 hours per week, Term Time Only plus 5 Training Days
Worked 8.30am to 5pm Monday, 8.30am to 3.15pm Tuesday to Friday
Actual Salary (£15,281 – £16,540) Pay award pending
The Yorkshire and the Humber Co-operative Learning Trust (YHCLT) was formed in September 2016 and is now responsible for 9 schools across Hull, 2 secondary and 7 primary schools.
We are committed to ensure that all of our schools have access to a high quality support services to underpin the excellent work our schools do in educating our pupils.
Required to start as soon as possible, a Learning & Progress Mentor to provide support and guidance to students, removing barriers to learning in our personal learning access base and mainstream lessons. You will have specific responsibility for looked after children and vulnerable children (including post LAC students).
You will promote effective curriculum participation, enhance individual learning and raise aspirations for students to achieve their full potential, addressing negative attitudes, improving attendance and reducing exclusions. In addition, you will support and take shared responsibility for supporting and co-ordinating the statutory provision of reviews for LAC students with the designated member of the Senior Leadership Team.
