Scale C – Salary £4,100.26 - £4,182.20 per annum
10 Hours per Week. Term Time – 39 weeks per year.

We are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to join Iceni Academy at our Hockwold Primary site. This is a fulfilling and rewarding role, which will include the successful candidate spending some time working 1 to 1 with specific pupils and support with reading, writing, maths as well as other curriculum subjects. You will work directly with class teachers and teaching assistants as well as the parents and carers to support the pupils’ progression in all areas of academy life.
The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people and will be able to understand their educational needs. You will be instrumental in developing behaviour management strategies and supporting the child’s development whilst in the school. You will have a good understanding of children safeguarding and how to support pupils with challenging and varied needs. Experience in all primary age classrooms and SEND would be an advantage.
