Learning Support Assistant - Creative Arts
(Two Part-time roles available, Term Time only, Fixed term until 2nd July 2021)
If you seek an opportunity for a role where every day is completely different this may well be the job for you! We have an opportunity for two talented, highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join BCA working as a Learning Support Assistant within our Creative Arts department.
Working alongside specialist tutors and vocational lecturing staff, the successful candidates will provide an outstanding learning experience for our students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity to offer in-class and, in some instances, out of class support to learners with a range of learning needs.
The successful candidates will have knowledge and awareness of a variety of approaches to supporting learners and experience of similar work with post-16 learners and/or supporting students with GCSE Maths & English would be useful. Experience of working in Art & Design, Media and/or Performing Arts would also be desirable, although not essential.
This person will have a can-do attitude and a positive outlook. They will be flexible in their approach to working with different students and staff, be willing to give new challenges a go and seek personal development.
There are two roles available:
- One role is for Tuesdays, Fridays and half-day on Wednesdays during term time and is both online and in-person.
- One role is Fridays only during term time and is an online position
