Learning Support Assistant in mainstream partnership
Pay range B1 (point 4-6) - starting salary approx. £14,000 per annum
Term time only (39 weeks per year)

Hours: Mon, Tues, Fri – 8.20 – 3.00pm, Wed 8.20 – 4.00, Thursday 8.45 – 3.00

Whilst you can be expected to work on any site across the SILC, this advert is to work at our Priesthorpe site, within the Co-Op Academy Priesthorpe.
West SILC is seeking to appoint a number of Learning Support Assistants. We cater for pupils between the ages of 2 and 19 with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, on specialist sites and mainstream partnership schools. The main purpose of the role is to support students within the partnership classes (nurture groups of 14) and in mainstream lessons (with classes of up to 30 students). As such, LSAs are required to work closely with West SILC and Priesthorpe teachers. Excellent communication skills are integral to the role; when supporting within lessons, LSAs will be required to provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress, achievement and areas for development.
