Learning Support Assistant
Key Stage 3 & 4 Learning Support Class for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
based at Bryncelynnog Comprehensive School
Hours: 32½ Hours Per Week – Term Time Only
Salary Scale: Grade 6 (£22,129 x 76.82%) + SEN Allowance (£1,347, pro rata)
Start date: 1st September 2022
A Learning Support Assistant is required for as soon as possible for the above provision. The post will involve assisting the class teacher in the implementation of individual programmes, and supporting pupils both in the base and in mainstream classes.
The successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team and be prepared to undertake appropriate specialist training in this challenging area of additional educational needs.
