Thinking about a career in teaching? Come and work at our school...
St Paul's are delighted to be able to offer a Learning Support Assistant role for the right candidate!
We have an excellent track record of supporting potential teachers to realise their career dreams and have supported a number of our previous LSAs to become teachers, through a variety of training paths.
This role could be ideal for you whether you have just finished A-levels or an equivalent course; have completed your first degree; or have already completed a teaching degree but would like to gain further classroom experience before taking on a class teacher role.
You will have the opportunity to work as part of a supportive, hardworking and friendly team.
You will be supported in continual professional development through comprehensive training and coaching which will be tailored to your individual requirements and allow you to enhance and further develop your skills.
The full time salary as a Learning Support Assistant is £16,334 - £18,044 depending on experience (£10,527-£11,629 pro-rata salary based on 27.5 hours per week).
The working hours are from 8.45am until 3.10pm, Monday to Friday term time only.
Successful applicants must be able to support the distinctive Christian ethos of the school but do not have to be a practising Christian.
If you would like to find out more about this role, please contact Ms Claire Blackmore, Inclusion Leader.
Our website will also give you more information about our school and please take the time to read our last Ofsted report (January 2017) where the school was judged to be good in all categories.
The closing date for this job is noon on Friday 7th June 2019 and interviews will take place week commencing Monday 17th June 2019.
St Paul's Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
