We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and creative Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly, hardworking and supportive team in this popular village school.
We are looking for motivated and dedicated people who are both passionate about supporting children’s learning and committed to keeping children safe. We offer an ambitious and creative place to work with staff who are happy to assist and support each other. We work collaboratively with other local schools in different ways and are constantly on the look-out for opportunities to enhance our provision. We are looking for a couple of people who are flexible and would be happy to work in any of the year groups after a discussion with the head teacher. There is the opportunity for the role to be matched to a small number of our children who require 1:1 support and if this is of interest to you, then please indicate so on your application form.
Applicants should have: •A good level of written and spoken English. •A good level of numeracy. •Basic IT skills. •The ability to follow instructions. •The ability to plan and prioritise regular and irregular tasks. •The ability to clarify and explain instructions to pupils. •The ability to communicate effectively with pupils. •The ability to motivate pupils to learn. •The ability to assist with the organisation of the learning environment.
Hours: 8.45am - 3.15pm Monday to Friday
