2 x Learning Support Assistant BG7, scale points 18 to 21, new scale points 7 to 11
31.25 hours per week, 8:40 to 3:40, (with 40 minute lunch break)
Actual salary - £14,645 - £15,542 (pay award pending)
These posts are offered for a fixed term of one year, dependent on direct funding allocations.
Start date: 1 September 2020
We require TWO experienced LSAs to join our Learning Support team, working with children with EHCPs or requiring SEN Support, either individually or in groups. You may be required to run targeted intervention programmes with groups of pupils.
You will need experience of working with children with communication and interaction needs, learning difficulties, SEMH and physical disabilities at Key Stage 2, both within the classroom and on individual or group interventions.
You will liaise with class teachers in setting targets and planning activities, and will be expected to use your own knowledge and experience to record progress and adapt lessons if need be. You will need to understand and demonstrate the importance of record keeping for monitoring progress and communication with teachers and parents.
