We are looking for several exceptional LSAs who can work as directed by the Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher and / or phase leaders in specific roles, on a fixed term basis for 1 year as part of our school catch-up programme, following the Covid-19 pandemic.
We are looking for 3 full time LSAs (32.5 hours a week Monday – Friday) and 1 part time (mornings Monday - Friday). One of the full time roles is in KS1 and will be primarily classroom based, supporting the class teacher with 1:1 or small groups. The other two full time roles will be in LKS2 and will also include supporting children with SEND. The part time role is in Reception, supporting with language development.
We are looking for people who are hard-working, consummate professionals and who are willing to be flexible within the challenges of working in a busy primary school. These roles will also involve some responsibility for planning and preparing resources where appropriate and in keeping effective records.
These are Fixed Term Contracts for LSAs who want to work with children with a range of needs. High expectations of children’s potential and the ability to make effective relationships with children that enable learning to take place, are essential.
The successful candidate must:
• be able to work 32.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday term time only plus 5 INSET days
• be able to work 8.30 – 3.30 inc. ½ hr lunch break
• have recent experience of working as an LSA or equivalent
• meet the essential criteria as laid out in the employee specification
• be approachable, organised and an excellent practitioner
