St Paul's is a happy, thriving, two form entry primary school in Dorking and we are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our team. We have a strong and supportive team of staff, who are highly motivated, caring and supportive of the children and one another. Our parents and governors take an active part in school life and the children's education.
The post is for a Learning Support Assistant for a child in Key Stage 1 and will be for 17.5 hours a week for 38.6 weeks a year (term time). Working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 15.05pm, with breaks of 45 mins in total each day.
This role will be supported by our SENCO and teaching teams and training will be given where needed. It will involve delivering the child's Education, Health and Care Plan in collaboration with the class teacher: supporting the child’s learning and sensory needs. Experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum and ADHD would be desirable.
The pay grade for the role is Surrey Pay 3 (FTE £17663 to £18607) Pro rata £7310 - £7701
This role is linked to a child and we expect the role to last until 21st July 2021
