Learning Support Assistant
Hours: 27 ½ hours a week (8:30am-3:00pm Mon to Fri with a 1 hour lunch break.) supporting a Year 6 pupil with both learning and social emotional difficulties.
Contract: Temporary post until 31st August 2022 when staffing will be reviewed due to funding, or pupil's departure from the school whichever is the sooner.
Salary: JG3/ SCP5-6 (£19,312 - £19,698 per annum, pro rata)
St Martin's School are looking to appoint an experienced Learning Support Assistant in the above role to start as soon as possible. Experience of working in a school and having a good understanding of how to support children with Special Educational Needs is essential for the position. The successful candidate must have good levels of English and Maths and have the ability to work well within a team.
