The Governors are looking to employ an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in KS1. You would be working to support the learning of children under the supervision of the teacher. This may be in support of whole class learning, small groups or working with a child one to one basis.
We are looking for an experienced, flexible person with a caring nature who enjoys working with children. The candidate will need to be able to work as part of a team and able to demonstrate an understanding of health and safety.
Applicants will ideally be qualified to NVQ level 2 or above in child care; a current first aid certificate would be an advantage. Experience of working in an educational environment is essential.
If you enjoy working with young children with special educational needs, and would like to work in a well- resourced, outstanding school, we look forward to hearing from you.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Satisfactory DBS checks are required for all staff.
