Learning Support Assistant Required
Ashford Park Primary School is a three form entry primary school with a specialist Centre, situated in Ashford, Surrey. The school is very well resourced and has extensive outside space. We are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistants to join our friendly, professional and hardworking team of staff. The successful candidate will receive full training and induction including safeguarding training.
A part time LSA to work in our specialist centre (temporary contract 2 terms initially) Monday – Friday 12pm – 3.15pm
£7,121 pro rata based on 16.25 hours for 39 weeks for part time role.
(FT equivalent £18,013)
It is essential that the successful candidates have:
- Experience of working with children
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- GCSE A*-C level in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Flexibility to work in other roles if required
- The ability to work as a member of a team
- A patient and calm nature
It is desirable that the successful candidates have:
- Experience of working in a school
- Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (Autism and/or language and communication)
- Qualifications for the post ie NVQ, First Aid Certificate

If you are appointed you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
The candidate will have safeguarding training as part of their induction to ensure that children are kept safe.
