Learning Support Assistants
Permanent – to start as soon as possible.
Part- Time – Term Time only (38 weeks p.a.)
Early Years - 15 hours per week. 8.45am – 12.00am Monday to Friday
Pay equates to approximately £7707/£7846 pa – according to experience
Salary Band ME 4 - F.T.E. £21408/21795 pa pro-rata
Due to an increase in the number of children requiring 1:1 support we are looking to recruit three part time Learning Support Assistants to provide support for children with specific and complex needs.

Ideal candidates will be supportive and committed with previous experience of supporting children with additional needs preferably within a mainstream classroom. It would be desirable if applicants have experience of supporting children on the Autistic Spectrum and knowledge of how to support pupils with ADHD.
We are looking for two LSA’s to support children in the Early Years. Both children have limited verbal skills and need help making their needs understood. They are at the very early stages of language and learning development and need all activities broken down into smaller more manageable tasks. The respond to being offered high interest activities in order to motivate them to engage in a task. They also need encouragement to interact positively with their peers and to comply with adult instruction.
Key Stage 2 – 20 hours per week. 8.45am – 12.30pm Monday to Friday plus 1 afternoon. Pay equates to approximately £10275/£10462 pa - according to experience
This child is in KS2 and has a diagnosis of ASD and ADHD. He is an energetic boy with a lovely personality who will need support in maintaining focus and attention for short periods of time. He is working on the Early Years curriculum so will need a lot of support with basic skills in reading, writing and maths.
