This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, enthusiastic and caring person who has high expectations for the education of all children. If you put the needs of children first and are passionate about finding creative ways to engage them in their learning, then we would love to hear from you.
Learning Support Assistants work either one-to-one with particular children, or in leading small group work or in supporting class teachers across a particular year group. You will need to be enthusiastic, dedicated and prepared to work closely within a team to provide engaging and purposeful learning opportunities for our children. You will be proactive and able to use your initiative to help build positive and respectful working relationships with particular children, some of whom may have challenging needs. You will also need a love of learning and to be open to continuing professional development in order to improve your own knowledge and experience to meet the ever-changing needs of our children.
We can offer you:
a welcoming and friendly school community;
enthusiastic children with a thirst for learning;
dedicated staff who go the extra mile to make a difference to our learners;
a comprehensive induction programme and exceptional opportunities for your continuing professional development;
a fantastic, modern school environment in which to work.
Visits to the school (wearing masks) are actively encouraged before you apply so that you can meet our children and staff and see our school in action. Please contact the school office if you'd like to arrange this.
“This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced disclosure check by the Disclosure and Barring Service.”
