LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANT (LSA)
Hours: Casual hours available – term time only
Salary: £9.08 per hour

Brooklands College is seeking to appoint Learning Support Assistants on a casual basis.
We are an established provider of good quality College and School Links courses for young people and adults with learning difficulties and emotional/behavioural difficulties.
Currently we are recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to work in our SEND and Additional Learning Support Teams.
The successful candidates will have recent experience of working with LDD students, be good communicators and have empathy for the learners. Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills are essential and an understanding of the needs of learners with learning difficulties and disabilities. Previous classroom-based experience would be an advantage.
Working as part of a team you will be required to support learners in a variety of situations which could involve in-class, 1:1 or small group support. You will be required to support learners who are working at a variety of levels from Entry to L3 across a variety of vocational areas.
We are looking for individuals who can work between the hours of 8.45am - 5.30pm.
