Learning Support Assistant – Centrally Funded required for Key Stage 3 & 4 Learning Support Class for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder
Employed by Learner Support Service based at Bryncelynnog Comprehensive School
Salary Scale: Grade 6 - £21,748 x 76.82% plus Special Class Allowance - £1,324 per annum (pro rata)
32 ½ Hours per Week – Term Time Only

Rhondda Cynon Taf Access and Inclusion Service is seeking to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced Learning Support Assistant for the Learning Support Class for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder based at Bryncelynnog Comprehensive School for as soon as possible. The post will involve assisting the class teacher in the implementation of individual programmes, and supporting pupils both in the base and in mainstream classes.
The successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team and be prepared to undertake appropriate specialist training in this challenging area of additional educational needs.
