We have few exciting opportunities for several hardworking, energetic and innovative Learning Support Assistants (Teaching Assistant) at Meadhurst Primary School on a Fixed term basis in the first instance. This role supports the class teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children in schools, which may include pupils with special needs.
This is a good opportunity for the people who wish to consider a career in teaching to get classroom experience prior to commencing teacher training.
Candidates should have basic numeracy and literacy e.g. through GCSE qualification in English and Maths or equivalent, or able to evidence ability at an equivalent level and should possess excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a commitment to helping each student achieve their full potential.
Two vacancies at Primary: Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, with one-hour lunch break, (30hours per week). Salary: £12,289-£13,098pa.
Two vacancies at Primary: Monday-Friday, 11:45am - 3:30pm, (18.75hours per week). Salary: £7,681-£8,186pa.
Two vacancies at Nursery: Monday-Wednesday, 8:30pm- 3:30pm, with 30 minutes lunch break / Wednesday-Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm, with 30 minutes lunch break, (19.5hours per week). Salary: £7,988 -£8,514pa.
