Learning Support Assistant required to work within the Key Stage 1 and Lunchtime supervisor teams.
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 1.00pm

We are a three form entry, nurture centred infant school, looking to employ a committed, proactive and adaptable person to work as part of our Key Stage 1 and Lunchtime supervisor teams. The successful candidate will be supporting the social, emotional, physical and academic development of the children in the relevant year groups through in-class or small group support and during unstructured play times.
The post is fixed term for the academic year 2020/21 due to a reduction in pupil numbers in the following year. The hours are 8.30am – 1.00pm Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will liaise with teaching staff in order to be able to follow and develop work plans, provide feedback to children and teachers in order to move learning on in a timely manner and support the maintenance of an enriched learning environment. In addition to this, he/she will liaise with the PE and SMSA leads on providing an environment to purposefully engage children during lunchtimes.
