We require 2 experienced LSAs to join our Learning Support team, working with children with Statements or EHCPs or requiring SEN Support, either individually or in groups. You may be required to run targeted intervention programmes with groups of pupils.
You will need experience of working with children with learning difficulties, physical disabilities and potentially challenging behaviour at Key Stage 2, both within the classroom and on individual learning programmes. We would particularly welcome applicants who have experience of working with children with speech and language difficulties.
You will liaise with class teachers in setting targets and planning activities, and will be expected to use your own knowledge and experience to record progress and adapt lessons if need be. You will need to understand the importance of record keeping for monitoring progress and communication with teachers and parents.
You will benefit from a well-structured special needs team, professional development opportunities and highly experienced colleagues.
