Learning Support Assistants
Working hours: 36 hours per week, Term time only + 5 training days (39 weeks);
Work pattern: Monday: 8.30am-4.30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 8.30am-4.15pm, Friday 8.30am-3.45pm;
Salary information: Scale 3 (£18,547 – £18,882) plus Special School Allowance: £1,107 (dependent on qualification and experience).
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to join our team as soon as possible.
Pentland Field School is an all-through special school for children and young people between the ages of 4 and 19 years olds with severe to moderate learning difficulties, including those with autism spectrum disorder.
We are looking for experienced LSAs who must have extensive and proven experience of working in a special school environment, or supporting a child with special educational needs in a mainstream environment.
We would welcome applications from candidates who are enthusiastic, flexible and are willing to participate fully in the life of a special school.
