The Growth Company – Education and Skills is one of the largest apprenticeship providers in the North West. We also deliver all year-round classroom-based provision from entry level through to degree level to young people and adults to help them enter and progress in employment, and as well as a range of ESF programmes.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join our Quality and Development team.
We are looking for a committed professional with energy and drive to help us continue to develop and improve our systems for identifying, assessing and responding to the additional support needs of learners across all our programmes. The post holder will also act as an internal source of advice and expertise on supporting learners with SEND and will be expected to coach and develop staff, working collaboratively with teams across the business.
This is a relatively new post with plenty of scope for the post holder to shape the development of the role. The successful applicant will be a highly motivated and organised individual with a strong background in providing additional support for learners; this would include experience of working with SEND learners with a clear understanding of core SEN conditions and the barriers to education this cohort of learners may face.
Applications are invited from suitably experienced and qualified teachers with at least 5 years’ experience of providing learning support to young people and adults.
Please refer to the attached Role Profile for a full job description and the skills and qualifications needed.
The Growth Company is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We particularly welcome applications from under represented groups including ethnicity, gender, transgender, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion.
