Salary: £16,558 - £18,532 pro rata
£6,127 - £6,858 per annum for the hours stated
Hours: 16 hours per week, 38 weeks per annum 0.37 fte
Hours to be worked over 4 days,
Monday: 4 hours spread over from 11.30am – 4.30pm
Wednesday: 3.5 hours spread over from 9am to 1.45pm
Thursday: 4 hours spread over from 11.30am – 4.30pm
Friday: 4.5 hours spread over from 9.30am – 4.30pm

We are looking to recruit experienced Learning Support Practitioners (LSPs) to join our Additional Learning Support Team at our campus in Ashford.
You will provide academic and motivational support to students who have a range of learning differences and other barriers, including; autistic spectrum condition, ADHD, speech, language and communication, complex and specific learning difficulties, physical and medical conditions, visual impairment, and social emotional and mental health.
Your responsibilities may include:
One to one or group support within a classroom, practical or workshop setting. You might also be required to provide support to students during unstructured times and when out on work experience placements
You need to have:
• Proven experience working with students with learning difficulties
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A high standard of IT skills
• Level 2 or 3 learning support qualification or the desire to achieve
Candidates must have GCSE C/4 or Level 2 in Maths and English as they will mainly be supporting students within their maths and English lessons
In addition to the minimum requirements detailed above you will need to demonstrate that you can work as part of a team and be flexibly to meet the business and department need.
