This is an exciting time to join the Computing Team as we grow our provision for young people and adults in Cambridge to enable them to work in the Computing sector.
We are looking for an experienced teacher in Computing to deliver a range of programmes to students aged 16-19, predominately on Level 3 courses.
You will be an outstanding teacher, and able to plan lessons that stimulate and develop the key-skills necessary to be able to help our learners gain employment in the computing industry. As a team oriented individual you will also collaborate with staff across the department and share best practice.
You will be expected to act as personal tutor for a group of students, providing support for them and setting rigorous targets to help them achieve their full-potential.
What we are looking for in our role:
•Experience of working in the Computing industry.
•Experience in delivering Computing/IT to students in an educational context, preferably teaching programming and experience of supporting individuals with diverse needs.
•A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
