An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us as a specialist lecturer to teach Maths in a growing and dynamic team. The successful candidate will be actively involved in the delivery and assessment of GCSE and Functional Skills Maths, and will be expected to contribute to the development and on-going improvement of GCSE and Functional Skills Maths in the College. The role may involve delivering Maths to groups of full time vocational learners, apprentices and adult groups.
Successful candidates will be expected to develop the skills and knowledge of our learners, and in close liaison with the curriculum teams provide excellent assessment opportunities for learners.
Applicants should have skills and recent experience in teaching Maths, but also the potential to inspire and motivate learners to succeed.
A strong track record for delivering high quality Maths teaching and learning within the FE sector/key stage 4 is desirable and ideally you will hold a relevant degree and/or teaching qualification. Applications from NQT and recent graduates are welcome.
