The School of Art and Design is looking for an enthusiastic and flexible Lecturer to teach across our exciting new course, Level 3 Digital Illustration & Animation.

We are looking for a motivated, organised and innovative individual with a broad range of skills to join our highly driven Art & Design School, teaching predominantly across our Level 3 Illustration & Animation course.
Due to the nature of delivery you will be expected to possess a broad range of digital skills and knowledge linked to digital Illustration and Animation. You will need to be familiar with industry standard software such as Unity 3D, Blender, Maya and Adobe Creative Suite.
Teaching experience is beneficial but not essential, the college will support the successful candidate to gain relevant teacher qualifications. If you are a recent graduate who is professional and eager to develop, we would love to hear from you too. We offer a supportive culture which provides excellent training opportunities. A candidate who can inspire 16-19 year old students and demonstrate good classroom management skills would be ideal.
You will also have an ability to promote, support and embed English and Maths skills within planning and delivery of all teaching. You should also be committed to providing prompt, detailed assessment of student work with experience of personal tutoring including target setting, as well as working well within a large team.
