About the role
We are looking for a Lecturer in Biology to join our Retail and Commercial department. Delivering lessons within BTEC Applied Science Extended Diploma Level 3, A Level, and Access to Higher Education courses as well as GCSE Science.
As a Lecturer in Biology, you will have to work as a member of a team to deliver a co-ordinated, integrated learning programme ensuring that learners receive a high quality learning experience and achieve success
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in appropriate discipline, ability to demonstrate a good level of knowledge and understanding in Biology and excellent inter personal skills to work effectively with staff , students and employer at all levels. You will need to hold a teaching qualification or have the desire to study for this qualification. The ability to teach some chemistry up to level 3 would be an advantage.
