New City College is very active in Engineering, Construction and Building Services across the region and due to continued growth we require a Lecturer in Engineering.
Lecturer in Engineering (BTEC/EAL)
£26,430 - £41,552 per annum
The successful candidate will need demonstrate experience in delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment to Mechanical learners from BTEC (RQF) L2-L4 and/or EAL Performing Mechanical Operations L2-L3. Due to the complex and technical nature of the Mechanical learning programmes, applicants will need to have experience of teaching at L3/4 and have a firm understanding of current mechanical practice.
Teaching/assessor experience would be an advantage but a passion for teaching your subject is the real qualification we are looking for.
A commitment to student (and self) development and achievement is essential. Our experienced team are looking for a teacher to motivate students, celebrate success and/or reward targeted groups. Therefore, candidates must be passionate about working with and inspiring our students.
With excellent communication and organisational skills, the candidate must be able to deliver effectively and engage students in their learning. You must also be highly flexible as we prefer someone who can teach practical and/or theory to 16-19 learners.
