Salary: £15, 201.50 - £18,854 (pro rata of £30,403 - £37,708 per annum incl. London Weighting Allowance per annum)
Art & Design is a key part of the well-respected Creative & Computing Industries Faculty at City of Westminster College. Our combination of innovation and continuing development means we now need an experienced and enthusiastic Photography lecturer to join our team.
We’re looking for someone with a degree, industrial experience and a teaching qualification with specialist skills in teaching digital and analogue photography. Specifically teaching basic and advanced camera control, photographic studio practice, Adobe Creative Cloud and traditional black and white and colour darkroom.
The successful candidate will have the proven ability to work within a team environment and experience of organising, managing and delivering learning opportunities in Photography.
Our Art & Design department consists of a range of courses from level 1 up to level 3, with distinctive pathways at Level 3 and Level 2 in Photography.
As part of the role you will act as a Level 2 course manager and personal tutor ensuring students are supported and their progress tracked and monitored.
You will also be actively involved in the internal verification process and preparing the department for external verification.
We are fully committed to our Art & Design provision and have dedicated Art areas including fully equipped Art studios, Photographic studios, a Darkroom and dedicated Mac suites with Industry standard software (Adobe Creative Cloud).
