Lecturer in Plumbing & Heating. Construction. Full Time. Permanent.
An opportunity has arisen within our Construction Department for a highly motivated individual within the Plumbing and Heating sector. Applicants are invited from a Plumbing/Heating/Gas background; being able to deliver subjects such as hot and cold water and central heating plumbing systems including sanitation and drainage systems.
The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of Water Regulations and unvented hot water competencies requirements. ACS Gas core knowledge would also be advantageous.
The area is at the forefront of technical educational delivery, offering both Technical Certificates/Advanced Diplomas and the latest T-Level qualifications from September 2021.
The successful applicant will join a high performing team and teach across a range of Full Time & Part Time programmes dependant on experience/qualifications to learners typically studying at level 1 to level 3 including T-Levels.
Applicants should hold a relevant Level 3 qualification as a minimum requirement. An ability to demonstrate appropriate IT skills will be required including working remotely to provide distance learning and support to cohorts of students as required.
Candidates will ideally hold or be willing to work towards a full teaching qualification. Successful applicants who do not already hold a teaching qualification, will be supported in gaining the required Qualified Teacher in Learning and Skills status.
