An exciting opportunity has arisen for a lecturer who is qualified in Plumbing and has experience of delivering a wide range of Plumbing programmes. We desire an experienced and highly motivated lecturer to join our growing and dynamic team in our further development of inspiring and innovative teaching and learning practices.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of programme planning and delivery, learning approaches and assessment strategies and also possess excellent vocational knowledge and experience of the latest Plumbing technologies.
Be able to teach and assess on a range of City and Guilds Plumbing courses from Level 1 to Apprentices of mixed ages and ability. The candidate must have onsite experience in plumbing and an assessors awards would be beneficial but not compulsory.
The ideal candidate will hold a full teaching qualification. To be successful in this role, you'll need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to effectively motivate and inspire young people and have a passion for your subject area. You'll also have exceptional organisational skills combined with good IT knowledge and sound administration skills.
As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
