Two exciting opportunities for teachers have arisen within our high-performing ESOL team.
Due to high demand for ESOL courses and good student recruitment for new courses, we are looking for experienced and suitably qualified ESOL tutors to join our established teaching team.
Our ESOL provision includes college and community-based courses, during the day and evenings, delivering across a range of pre-entry to Level 1 qualifications. You will preferably have the potential to teach across all levels of ESOL and have had experience of both adult and 16 – 18-year-old learners. You will also have the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities to meet diverse needs.
We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for teaching ESOL and have a desire to work with learners from wide ranging backgrounds. FE or community teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, although if you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you.
We have two positions available one full time and one part time (0.5fte). Both are fixed term positions based at New Bedford Road with an initial end date of July 2021.
The closing date for applications is Wednesday 27th January 2021.
We intend to hold interviews on Thursday 4th February 2021.
The successful candidates will join the School of ESOL, reporting to the Head of School Kara Durn.
