Teaching Assistant Level 1
30 hours per week to cover a maternity leave of a substantive post holder for the Autumn and Spring Terms 2020/ 2021 only.

The Governing Body of Llancaeach Junior School is looking to employ a fixed term, Teaching Assistant Level 1 to work within key stage 2 and to support pupils in class, which may also require supporting pupils with ASD/ ADHD difficulties.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Level 1 teaching assistant to support learning in the school. Candidates will be required to have NVQ Level 1 in Childcare and Education as a minimum to support learning in the school, or at least equivalent qualifications, such as a degree.
The Teaching Assistant will be required to work under the guidance of, and with the Teaching and Senior Staff to implement agreed programmes of work.
The postholder will be expected to support class teachers with assessment procedures.
There will be a focus on working as a member of our strong school team, encouraging positive behaviour in our children and assisting them in achieving high standards.
There will be a requirement to understand and have prior experience of working in key stage 2 but any further experience of working within foundation phase will be advantageous.. ,
