St Cuthbert’s Roman Catholic Academy Trust are seeking to appoint an experienced, passionate, enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to assist with After School Care at St Vincent’s VC Academy.
It is essential that that the candidate has the knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
The candidate is required to hold the NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience.
The candidate must hold a Paediatric First Aid Training qualification or willingness to undertake training.
The candidate is required to have a proven ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
The successful candidate will be able to inspire, motivate and engage children in the learning process during after school activities. They will have high expectations of behaviour and model good behaviour. They must be committed to work as part of a team and be willing to participate fully in ensuring inclusion of all children.
