TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2
Salary: Grade D Points 6 – 8 (£19,698 to £20,493 Full Time Equivalent) subject to pro rata, £10.21 - £10.62 per hour.
Hours: Casual contract for hours as and when required.
Craven Primary Academy are looking appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our academy as soon as possible on a casual contract.

Your new school
With 210 pupils aged between 3 and 11 housed in our academy, Craven is a friendly and vibrant place that serves the community of the Drypool ward, but many children from further afield attend because of our excellent reputation. We are a popular choice of school for the community, and each year our reception is heavily oversubscribed. We pride ourselves on the high levels of academic standards that our children reach, but also the responsible young citizens they develop into during their time with us.
Your new role
In your new role you will work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the main teaching area.
