Part Time Teaching Assistant Required from November 2021 to cover a maternity leave. Initial working days would be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. These may be reviewed if the contract is extended.

Salary Grade D: Point 6-11 £19,698 – £21,748 (dependent on experience) – pro rata for 3 days for 39 weeks per year
The Governors and Head teachers of Hempshill Hall Primary School are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to support and work alongside our skilful SEN team. The role would be supporting a group of children with additional needs who require an alternative curriculum. This contract is for a fixed period until 31st July 2022 it will then be reviewed as there is a possibility it may be extended.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
• Have experience of supporting children with autism and complex needs
• Be committed to inclusion
• Work well as part of a team
• Support other children with similar needs as part of a small group
• Adapt the curriculum to make it accessible
• Establish a strong relationship with the family
• Have a good sense of humour
