Temporary Level 2 Teaching Assistant - 27 1/2 Hours - 39 weeks per year.
I would like to thank you for your interest in our exciting role as a Teaching Assistant – Supporting and Delivering Learning at Ysgol Cwm Brombil within the Secondary Phase, the all-through school which serves the community of Margam and the Afan Valley in Port Talbot.
The Teaching Assistant Post is available within the Secondary Phase and will be Temporary from 1st September 2021 until 31st August 2022.
This is an incredibly exciting and important time for the educational provision for Port Talbot and this is a key appointment for the school. The post holder will have responsibility for a specific brief and will have opportunities to broaden their experiences by working with an innovative and professional group of staff. We are looking for an outstanding person who can work with us to see the realisation of our shared vision for the pupils, staff, parents/carers and the wider community. We are aspirational for our pupils and we will encourage them to aspire, believe and achieve so that they are able to leave school with success and value. We are determined to ensure that the learning experience will be vibrant, exciting, and fully inclusive and will provide a truly all-through provision.

The governors are seeking to appoint an excellent and highly dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant's who are:

The successful candidate must be either qualified to at least NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
The appointee will work closely with both staff and pupils to lead and inspire others to support the development of the new school and make the vision a reality. The post will commence as soon as possible.
This post will be for 28 ¾ Hours for 39 weeks per year on Grade 5 (sp10 - £14,083 – sp17 - £16,176).
