Loughborough College is seeking a new library assistant to join the well-established team at the College library.
We are looking for someone to carry out a variety of tasks which will help to maintain and run the library on a day to day basis. This includes, but is not limited to, shelving stock, issuing and returning books to staff and students, and helping to ensure that the library is a suitable environment for study.
To be successful in this post, you will have an interest in library work and in supporting learners to become successful and independent. Previous library experience would be advantageous but is not essential as all necessary training will be provided.

The working hours and days are Tuesdays 1pm until 5pm, Wednesdays: 10:30am to 5pm and Friday 8:30am to 5pm. These hours and days are fixed and non-negotiable. This post is over 40 weeks per year working term time plus half term holidays in October, February and May.
The successful candidate will be employed by The Leicestershire College a subsidiary company of Loughborough College. The terms and conditions of employment offered by the Leicestershire College are different to those of Loughborough College.
