The College is seeking to appoint a Livestock Technician to contribute to the Agriculture and Animal Management departments.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily husbandry, record keeping and care of the commercial sheep flock and cattle herd so experience of working with these animals in essential.
You will be required to assist in the full lambing process as well as the development of a small beef herd.
You will provide practical support and supervision to students in practical subjects both on an individual and group basis, ensuring provision is learner focused, ensures academic excellence, high quality learning and an outstanding student experience which reflects the principles of the personalised curriculum and contributes to the achievement of the College’s strategic and development plans.
There is some practical module teaching and assessing with this role.
