You will need to hold relevant level 3 qualification and have had Child Protection training as well as experience in a similar setting. You will have experience of 1-2-1 mentoring, coaching or tutoring and be confident in dealing with sensitive issues. The successful candidate will require an innovative and proactive approach as well as strong administrative and organisation skills.
Anyone starting midway through the academic year will have their monthly salary slightly reduced, as staff need to have worked a certain length of time through the academic year to be able to receive continued payment through the summer, when you won’t be expected to work. The actual figure would be calculated once a start date is confirmed. At the beginning of the next academic year the monthly salary will revert to 1/12th of the whole pro rata salary quoted.
