We are looking to recruit two full-time Learning Support Assistants to join our exciting school - one class-based in KS1 initially, and one to support children with SEND. We have a great mix of children and we have a good reputation for the inclusion of children with special needs, including a number on the autistic spectrum. We have a supportive parent body and huge grounds to make creative use of. We had a very positive Ofsted inspection in March 2018.
We require skilled and enthusiastic LSAs who can support teaching and learning and address the personal and individual needs of our pupils. You will need to be a good communicator, cheerful, calm, resilient and able to work as part of a team.
Ideally, you will be qualified to at least NVQ2 in a relevant area and have some experience of working in a primary school. Experience and expertise of working with children with communication difficulties, medical issues, SEMH needs or on the autistic spectrum may be advantageous for these roles. The roles are temporary for one year in the first instance and will be paid on Band B1. The hours of work will be 8.30-3.30 Mon-Fri, term time only. You will not routinely be expected to work Teacher Training Days, but may be invited to do so on occasion and be paid overtime.
Further information about the school can be found by visiting the school website.
A tour of the school by the Head Teacher or Assistant Head Teacher is planned for at 4pm on . If you would like to join the tour, please call or email to book a place.
Where possible, all correspondence will be done via email so please ensure you include a valid email address on your application.
