Lunchtime Supervisor Post Grade 1
SCP1 - 2 £17,842 - £18,198 Pro rata
Fixed term contract until 31st August 2021
Approximately 6 hours per week, between the hours of 11.45-1.15pm Monday – Friday Part time, term time only, the above salary will be pro rata

We are a friendly school with approximately 200 pupils aged between 2 and 11 years. The school fosters close links with parents and the local community. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating and supportive climate in order for our children to achieve their maximum potential. To achieve this, we provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site. These are organised by the staff team of teachers and teaching assistants working together.
We are seeking to appoint a friendly and committed lunchtime supervisor. The role will include supporting children with their cooked/packed lunches as well as supervising them on the playground, encouraging positive play.
A good understanding of caring for children and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential. Supervising duties may include;
• Organising dinner queue and entrance of pupils into dining hall
• Encouraging good behaviour and table manners in the dining hall
• Cleaning up any spillages
• Encouraging positive play and supporting games and activities
• Reporting any accidents/incidents
• Assisting with cleaning the dining hall at the end of lunchtime
The position is subject to a DBS Enhanced disclosure check, two references, medical clearance, and evidence of appropriate qualifications.
