Who we a looking for
We are a forward thinking Autism Specific Specialist Free School seeking a Maintenance Operative (Site Facilities Assistant) to support the Site Facilities Manager in the day to day maintenance and security of the building, ensuring all statutory compliance is met to a high standard. The successful candidate will be suitably qualified for the role and will understand, and be able to adapt to, the needs of a growing, working school, whilst ensuring high standards of cleanliness, maintenance, security and health and safety.

We were inspected in November 2017. The School was rated as Good overall, with outstanding in personal development, behaviour and welfare. The school was also Autism Accredited in January 2019.
Supported by the National Autistic Society Academies Trust and National Autistic Society, we cater for up to 64 students aged 4-19 with Autism and Asperger Syndrome. As a part of the NAS Academies Trust, we have developed significant professional and working partnerships with the already established Independent NAS schools and other NASAT Free School drawing on knowledge and expertise through professional working relationships to ensure best practise is shared.
We aim to deliver the highest level of education and experiences to ensure the best life chances become a sustainable reality for every young person (on an individual needs led basis). Together, we will create a safe, positive and structured environment in which every young person is respected and encouraged to achieve independence (through academic, employment and personal skills development).
