This is an opportunity for an experienced Maths Teacher to join a vibrant, challenging and enormously fun teaching community in one of this country’s leading girls’ schools.
You will provide an excellent education for all the school’s pupils by teaching Maths with expertise and enthusiasm, offering support to the learning of individual students and contributing to the school’s pastoral system.
The role requires an enthusiastic, positive and hard-working individual with the ability to teach the subject up to A level, using a range of innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students.
Maths at Wimbledon High School:
The Mathematics Department at Wimbledon High School is a centre of excellence in the school, with an outstanding record of achievement at all levels. The department is dynamic and confident, bringing together teachers with interests in a variety of fields within the subject, and the team works together excellently.
Teaching facilities include 4 dedicated teaching rooms, all equipped with interactive touch screens plus whiteboards. The department is passionate about high-quality teaching and learning and is continually improving the provision of resources including using the Firefly learning platform.
