Secondary Maths Teacher for Children & Young People in hospital
The opening of the new regional Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service hospital, Red Kite View, has enabled us to offer this exciting position as a Secondary Maths Teacher in the Medical Needs Teaching Service (MNTS). The successful candidate will contribute to outstanding teaching and learning in this custom-built provision, due to open autumn 2021, in addition to having the opportunity to deliver learning across our service.
We are seeking to appoint an individual with a vision and drive for education, who is motivated to develop our maths offer; an experienced and enthusiastic teacher who will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality education to children and young people with medical needs.
The successful candidate will be:
• an experienced, enthusiastic and creative teacher of maths
• able to work constructively with other professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• able to contribute to the MNTS whole service vision
The MNTS is a service commissioned by Leeds Local Authority through a Service Level Agreement with the East Specialist Inclusive Learning Centre, and the MNTS delivers learning in four settings across Leeds.
