BMet is a great organisation, home to thousands of bright and enthusiastic students and many talented and experienced staff. We are passionate about providing the qualifications and training that local employers and communities need. Our goal is to prepare all our students for the world of work, both now and in years to come.
We are currently looking to appoint a Teacher of GCSE & A Level Maths to join the team at our Sutton Coldfield College (34 Lichfield Rd, Sutton Coldfield B74 2NW).
This post represents an exciting opportunity to be involved in the start-up of new Full Time 16-18 and Adult GCSE provision at Sutton Coldfield college, taking a key role in the development of this new provision with a great deal of input and autonomy in course/curriculum design (including input into the choice of exam board for the relevant subject).
Successful applicants may also have the opportunity to be involved with or gain experience in A Level delivery within our existing sixth form/A Level provision (subject to qualifications and prior experience). As such, these roles are suitable for either experienced GCSE teachers (with or without prior A Level teaching experience) or suitably qualified and enthusiastic NQTs.
The purpose of the role will be to deliver a high-quality learning experience and exceptional outcomes for learners, inspiring students to engage, achieve and progress, and promoting the development of employability skills throughout the learning experience.
As an employer we offer a wide range of career paths. Working at BMet provides a real opportunity for you to make a difference to the communities we serve, as well as giving you the environment to develop your career in an exciting and dynamic organisation. We know that our diversity is a source of strength and we warmly welcome people from all backgrounds, particularly encouraging applications from people who are currently under-represented at college.
