Details of the role
The successful candidate will have responsibility for dealing with materials, tools and equipment for workshop sessions including maintaining stock levels, ordering, unloading of delivered materials, preparing for sessions, issuing to students and monitoring its use in compliance with H&S and COSHH.
You will exercise good and safe workshop practice, meet regularly with teaching staff, instructors and assessors to provide assistance with assessment decisions. Monitor and register attendance of students in workshops, assist teaching staff and instructors with the supervision, training and assessment of students including monitoring, recording and reporting progress as required.
Interviews will be held on Tuesday 4 February 2020 at our Gillingham campus.
You will have GCSE passes in English and Maths, relevant qualifications or significant trade experience, a Health Safety qualification or willingness to work towards, a First Aid qualification or willingness to work towards.
You should have knowledge and experience of Mac computers and operating software including Adobe Creative Suite.
Recent experience in a relevant field is essential.
