To work together with the Senior Officer: Nursery and Nursery Officer/Deputy Nursery Officer to ensure the smooth day to day running of the Nursery, including the welfare and care of the children and the planning of activities within the Day Nursery.
Salary: Scale 1, Point 14, £17,943 per annum (pro rata) equivalent to £9,698 per annum.
Hours of Work: 20 hours per week (including early mornings, evenings and weekends)
Contract: Part time, permanent.
Location: NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College)
Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess a Level 3 qualification: CACHE, BTEC National Diploma in Nursery Nursing or NVQ Level 3 (CCLD). Experience of working in a childcare environment is essential and candidates must hold a clean valid driving license. You should hold certificates in First Aid, Basic Food Hygiene, Manual Handling (Childcare) and have awareness of Child Protection. Certificates would be advantageous although training will be provided.
