Teaching Assistant: Level 2 (Maternity Leave cover)
Salary: £18,058 per annum (£12.03 per hour)
To commence: October 2022
Hours: 8:15-3:45pm
Chipstead Valley Primary school is a 3-form entry school, based in Coulsdon, Surrey. We are fortunate to have extensive facilities and grounds including an outside gym area, swimming pool, immersive learning suite, reading garden and library. We are looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our busy nursery teaching assistant team. We are lucky to have a supportive school community, friendly and welcoming staff and most importantly, a school full of wonderful children.
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our Early Years team, providing support for our nursery children under the direction of the Class Teacher and Early Years Educators. You will be working as part of an energetic team to deliver excellent education within the EYFS curriculum. Therefore, experience of working within the EYFS framework as well as a caring and nurturing nature Is essential. As a teaching assistant you will have the opportunity to work alongside an outstanding team, observing and sharing best practice for continuous professional development.
This position would suit an already experienced teaching assistant with a passion for Early Years, or someone with experience of working with children aged 2-5 years old.
