Nursery Worker/Unqualified Childcare Practitioner
Permanent position from 1st September 2020
Surrey Pay S3 £17,663 - £18,607 per annum
We are looking to appoint a patient and understanding unqualified team player as full time Nursery Workers in our wonderful Day Nursery. You will need to have a warm and caring attitude with a sense of fun – being able to laugh at jokes you don’t understand is a must with 2 year olds!
We offer integrated childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years. If you would like to explore the childcare profession, this is a great opportunity to do so as part of a supportive team. Qualifications are not required for this role but heaps of enthusiasm and energy are essential. Please note that this post is not a school term time role. It is a permanent role for 36 hours per week, year round. Hours are worked over five days Monday to Friday on a rota basis, comprising two 9 hour days and three short 6 hour days. The earliest start is 7.30am and the latest you will finish is 6.15 pm; rotas are worked within that time frame. We are a supportive team and continuing professional development is encouraged and supported.
You will be a vital part of the Day Nursery team caring for children between the ages of 3 months and 5 years in an integrated care and education setting. We want to provide our children with a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care.
The Day Nursery stands within the grounds of Epsom Downs Primary School and as such has the use of a wide range of outstanding facilities. The Day Nursery is purpose built, bright and very well resourced. There is access to outside play areas equipped to the highest standard, a small farm, Music room, Library and even an indoor and outdoor beach!
